In Mei heb ik drie optredens in Mexico city op de grootste pleinen aldaar. Ik werd uitgenodigd door de Nederlandse ambasade in Mexico om Nederland te vertegenwoordigen op een mondiaal festival in Mexico.
De optredens zijn op 15, 17 en 20 Mei.
De Mexicaanse ( Chilango) freejazzsaxofonist Remi Álvarez speelt mee als gastmuzikant.

Remi Álvarez Born in Mexico. Transverse flute, solfa and harmony studies in The National Music Conservatory. He learns different composition techniques and World Music in The Creative Music Studio, Woodstock, New York. He is a graduated student from the Superior School of Music, Mexico City, where he also studies transverse flute in the Brazilian Music. Saxophone studies with Dave Liebman and Steve Lacy in The Center of Musical Information, Paris, France.
He has performed in several concerts with Trío de Jazz, Cráneo de Jade and The Mexican Jazz Quartet, in Mexico and another countries. Joines ASTILLERO in 1999.
